Employment

Argon ST, Fairfax, VA
Employed from June 2008 to Present
I currently work at Argon ST as a software and systems engineer, designing digital signal processing software for Linux systems.

Apress, Berkeley, CA
Employed from June 2006 to May 2007
Apress is the publisher of my book, Foundations of GTK+ Development, released in April 2007.

Experience

Co-channel Interference Mitigation
I have spent considerable time converting a MATLAB prototype of a unique co-channel interference mitigation technique into C++. This conversion not only improved the runtime by over 750%, but also proved the software to the customer, so that it is currently running in the operational system.

Geo-location Solutions
For my first project at Argon ST, I developed a time-difference of arrival (TDOA) geo-location implementation. This solution determined the TDOA of three or more received streams of signal data with no assumptions of the internals, and used an iterative solution to determine the emitter’s location
